At ONE Motion Soccer, we aren’t just coaches training kids to play and love this game of Soccer, we are also consciously responsible members of the community.
On our recent quest to continue to teach this sport to everyone interested, we were introduced to a bright star, who gave us a new perspective on this beautiful game. As a ONE Motion Mini athlete with Prader-Willi Syndrome, Brooke is tenacious, determined and always focused on the ball. She started off as player we were thrilled to coach, and with her spicy spunk for footy, she quickly became part of the ONE Motion family.
So, we at ONE Motion Soccer are taking one SMALL Step to help to raise funds for critical research to help eliminate the challenges of PWS. From the day we met her, she’s changed our lives and opened our eyes to the great impact that this sport can have here, and worldwide.
I’d like to quote a good friend of mine, Dennis Thompson AKA Trixx, who simply put, always reminds us “all you need is a ball”.
As long as we keep providing a ball & training for kids of every color, race and social/economic background, we’ll keep the love of Soccer going.
Funds raised through ONE Motion Soccer will be used to advance PWS research through the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research Canada.
You can learn more about PWS and the research that is underway at http://www.fpwr.ca/research/.
